We have a rooster that sounds like he has a frog in his throat. I noticed that if I massage his crop and it seems to make it a little worse, gurgle wise. He seems to have bouts of sneezing quite a bit now too. No runny nose or eyes. He has been eating, drinking, and doing his normal rooster things;) The weather does keep changing drastically. It will be -4 at night, and go to 35 during the day. The next day it may be 50 and down to 35 that night.

Here is where my main confusion lies, I can go back out an hour later he seems completely fine and I don't hear any gurgle sounds. I'm not sure if I should seperate him from the others. Or give everyone vitamins, meds, etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Love you chicken lovers!!!

Sorry that you haven't been getting any replies, but the symptoms are a little vague. Hoarseness, sneezing, and gurgling can be respiratory disease symptoms if they are heard often. It could be something in your coop irritating him such as ammonia odor, dust, feed, etc. or the cold and changing weather as you say. I would probably just keep an eye and ear open for any other symptoms such as watery eyes, nasal drainage, swelling around an eye or face. If you had added a bird to the flock, there could have been a respiratory disease brought in. I'm a big fan of putting a vitamin/probiotic in my chicken water every other day, just to promote general health plus good intestinal health. There are several brands of this such as Rooster Booster, or you can use a separate poultry vitamin such as Avian Super Pack and add Probios Dispersible Powder to water. If the gurgles and sneezes continue when your weather improves you might need to treat him with Tylan, Gallimycin, or Oxytetracycline in the water which all treat MG/CRD.
