Rooster sounds before the sex is identified?

Looking for some expertise or experience! Has anybody noticed that rooster chicks make a slightly different clucking noise before they're even sexed? I recently found out I had a rooster and right around the time his face started turning red and waddles and combs started developing a little more, I noticed he has a deeper, louder clucking noise. I'm still new to this, but I know I have two roosters now, and both of them have that deeper, as well as louder cluck. Is this just coincidence with my chickens?

That boy chicks sound different than girl chicks is a new one on me. Never noticed it before. Both sexes make a chirping sound until around age four months, unless a cockerel manages to belt out a squeaky crow early on.

But the red comb and wattles is a definite clue you have cockerels.

I would say it's like a clucking sound, but it's louder, deeper, and more scratchy sounding.

By two weeks of age male chicks respond differently to alarm calls and producing the calls themselves. The alarm calls are not chirping / contact calls.
