So my rooster which is 13 weeks old light Brahma has been crowning I’m the morning and evening and it sounds so weird. Is it just bc he’s starting or will it change “to normal”

my quail was super weird, he learned how to crow very fast then after a couple weeks his crow got super low, like someone was humming. i dont know whats thats about!

My eleven week old cockerels are in that 'learning' phase, and it's really funny. the bantam boys are higher pitched, and the Chanteclers, just starting, have deeper voices. In the morning (late, for the neighbors) when they go out, they have practice crowing contests, love it!

My dominant rooster has a weird crow- every cockadoodledoo ends with a croak like a raven and he's done it since his first call. He also growls like a dog when he doesn't like what's going on but can't stop it, like when I'm taking eggs from under a displeased hen, or if one of our dogs gets into their pasture.

When our other rooster started crowing it sounded like he was being strangled. First time I heard it, I ran out to see what he was choking on. I thought I'd have to do a chicken Heimlich.
