Rooster Stopped Crowing :(

I have a beautiful 7 month old Black Orpington Rooster...this morning I did not hear him crow. When I checked on him is sounded like he was trying to crow but it was very weak. Any ideas... please help! BTW he is the only rooster with 6 hens.

Is he eating, drinking, active?
Any other symptoms would be helpful.
