We have this blue andalusian rooster that literally does nothing, we have 2 different hawks here and everytime he sees one he just screams at it and does nothing, which is weird because he is like huge. We have already lost 4 chickens because of this

Welcome!
How old is your rooster? He is giving a warning call, and the flock should be paying attention and hiding. Also, when there's been a raptor attack, the survivors need to be locked in safely for at least ten to fourteen days, until that hawk leaves. Roosters can't be everywhere, and hawks are very good at licking out their next meal.

The rooster is no match for a hawk. Although I've heard a few stories about roosters attacking a hawk, it's a rare rooster that lives to tell the tale.

I had one rooster that fought off a hawk to save a hen. But was also a jerk to us and eventually to the girls so he had to go. All of my previous roosters just call out a warning.

My current roo is a bantam mix cochin. He's built like a tank but his legs are too short to fight with his feet. He will send out a warning but with one hawk attack last year he was hiding in a rabbit hutch. He knows his limitations.
