I thought I'd start a rooster thread for posting pictures and talking about our roosters! I think that the rooster is very under-rated. Roosters are elegant and beautiful! I also love the sound of roosters crowing! I think every flock should have at least one Rooster!
My very first bird was a Silkie x Rooster.

Anyways, I'll start this, with a few of my pics

black breasted red old english game bantam rooster

Rusty the Rhode Island Red rooster. I just love this big guy. Hatched almost 2 years ago and he hasn't bit me but just once. A kick in the pants and flying halfway across the coop took care of that problem!!

Patrick the Barred Rock cockeral. Out of 4 BR chicks would you believe I got 3 cockerals and only 1 pullet!?

Okay now that I got that off my sunburnt shoulders....... out of the 3 BR cockerals I'm keeping Mr. Patrick. His mate is named Penelope.

*EDIT* I have to get updated pictures of my BR chicks. They are almost 6 weeks old now and that picture was taken when I first took them outside when they were 3 weeks old.
