Well, mine is out of here. I was holding my favorite EE today, and she has a HUGE (5cm) area where she has been SKINNED under her wing. I immediately removed the roo from the yard. The guy I got him from is taking him back. The only reason he isn't soup is I promised the guy I got him from that I would keep him for a pet, no slaughtering. He is actually a pretty nice rooster, and I could wait out the loss of feathers on the back, but this is ridiculous. He is just too rough with the girls!
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
