I have a huge problem with my year and a half old rooster. The rooster does not have Bumblefoot. I’m going to preface my “please help me post” by saying that he does not have bumble foot. I’ve looked at his foot. Nothing tells me that he has an infection at the bottom of his foot. I am trying to post a video so you all can see how he walks. Tomorrow he has a long awaited appointment with a vet that I found an hour away in Wisconsin. Any other advice would be great. He is on b12 and a liquid poultry vitamin just in case it is a vitamin deficiency-both made by rooster booster. It turns out I can’t post a video. All I can say is that he takes a couple steps he wobbles, and he falls down.

What's his diet? Have you checked his hip for any heat or swelling?
He is on chick starter non medicated, water melon, greens, lettuce, cucumbers, all the produce is organic and grown in my garden. No pesticides etc only thing that is warm to the touch is his right “thumb “ as I like to call it .

How much extras does he get?
He would pretty much let the hens eat before he even would try a taste of something. Unfortunately since I can’t attach videos to my I can’t show you how bad he was. We made the decision to put him to sleep.once I saw that he wanted soooo badly to eat but couldn’t bend down to do so, I said : that is not living. This is not fair on him. He was such a good boy and such a sweet rooster. He always guarded his hens and made sure they ate first. We will miss him terribly.
