I thought it was a poultry fact- roosters don't tuck their heads under their wing on the roost at nite. I have a cock-a-doodle dude who has taken to tucking his head under his wing. What gives?
 
I've learned that there are no absolutes with chickens. The instant you say a chicken won't do something, one of them will.

My LF brahma tucks his head occasionally (pea comb). My turken cockerel hasn't yet (single comb). Perhaps that's the difference between one that will and one that won't; perhaps not.
