You never know how a roo's personality will change as they grow. Your Marans might stay best buds or might start fighting.

Professor Plum may start exerting himself when he has all the girls' attention. The others are probably restraining thrmselves because the other roos are dominant.

My suggestion: eliminate Col. Mustard from consideration. Eliminate the wounded boy from consideration. Isolate them all and leave Professor Plum with the girls. Carefully evaluate his behavior over at least a month, and watch how the girls act.

These birds are still very young. The older girls may continue to chase him until he can convince them that he's a good provider. At the moment they want nothing to do with a teenage punk.
