Mine start around 9am, settle down for an hour and a half, then start their American Idol competition at 10:30. They take turns crowing at each other until lunchtime. They can also get set off by something and crow for hours--yesterday I re-introduced a roo to the hens who had been separated for a while. The other boys thought he had been made into soup, so they had to crow for a few hours back and forth, making sure he was still OK.
