Good Morning All -
My boy "Bob" finally started crowing in Mid-August. He's a pretty faithful "crower". At first it was was like a gurgle and then it evolved into a pretty even crow. This past weekend I noticed when he finishes his crow - he seems to have an "echo". Has anyone else ever heard this? Is it normal?

Some roosters got funky crows, mine starts out normal then at the end it makes an ahhhh sound like the noise they play on television when someone has an enlightening moment. You just got a different sounding rooster. :)

I had one that did about the same thing, more of a sigh and Grr mix. He's out grown it. He's an Easter egger, something cross, freebies CL. He's outgrown it.I think he came home about 14 pos old and that was about 4 sos ago? I figure he's like the hens, Learning how to do what they're supposed to do..I still have what Tractor Supply called Browns, brought home in April, that aren't laying yet. Live & Learn.. :p:cool:
