Rooster with broken beak, no vet available

My orpington rooster broke the top of his beak today sometime between 12pm-3pm, and the only vet that's open can't see him today so I need advice on what first aid I can do. I already separated him and have him in a tub until I can get something bigger to put him in.

Broken beaks can be very painful for a few days, and may keep them from getting enough to eat and drink. I don’t have any experience with it, but will try to post some good links. Sometimes a beak can be repaired with a section of an empty tea bag cut to shape and superglue. An avian vet is best, but can be expensive.

Thanks, I plan on taking him to the vet in the morning
I'm a bit nervous about doing anything myself, but I'm also worried about not doing anything
He doesn't seem to be in much pain, he's been eating/drinking normally and has been crowing constantly since I moved him inside. There's also no bleeding, it's just crooked.
