Last night my rooster had a ton of trouble getting up on the ramp and I think this is when he broke it. He is full grown. It is not really bent its more twisted. It's his middle toe. He doesn't seem to be in too much pain. And he's acting normally. Its swollen up towards the base. Im just not sure what to do. If anything.
Thanks for any help.

Some chickens have bent or twisted toes, are you sure it wasn't there before and you didn't notice it?

Unless it's flopping around I think I would leave it alone to heal, it's possibly sprained or dislocated, messing with it could make it worse unless you have access to a vet who could diagnose it.

I've never noticed it before and I've had him for a while. It's not flopping around. I guess I'll just leave it alone thanks.

Thought I'd share a picture of my rooster with a broken toe. He's young still and I'm pretty sure it happened soon after hatch. He doesn't seem to notice it. Roosts and runs and scratches like everyone else.
He earned the named Captain, as in Captain Hook.

I see where you think it's broken. Honestly I'm not sure there is anything you can do. Healing a toe requires it to be held stiff and straight. I can't imagine that ever happening with a chicken. :p
