Rooster with curled toes

So, I have a rooster who has had curled toes all his life, but recently it's gotten worse. He is always laying down: Eating, drinking, crowing...He will kind of wobble around for a few steps and then fall. It's definitely gotten worse with chasing the other roosters around in the heat. I've separated the other roosters so he's not chasing them anymore.

I kinda splinted a few times, but he's so strong so I don't know what to do. The heat has gotten so bad and I don't know how to help him.



Any advice is welcome!

In my experience the only time this condition can be corrected is when they are chicks. I'd give him a hen or two for company and keep him separated so that he doesn't become a target of the other roosters.

Thank you! I also have a 4-month-old chick who has had leg/walking issues all her life, so they are now separated out together (Plus a super sweet hen who gets picked on by the other hens.)
