Meh, I kicked him out of the pasture, he was getting his butt whooped by the showgirl due to him trying to steal her eggs. He is now out of it, but something tells me if we had another pen and I gave him some eggs he most likely would of hatched them out.

Gotta wait if the insanity takes over him again XD I got another broody with him, but he doesn't want her eggs...

Do you have a hen of the same breed? If so, could you let him be the sire and raise the brood without interference?


Something does not quite look right about him. Does he by any chance lay eggs despite his outward appearance?

I have seen such only a couple of times where rooster would incubate eggs. Major hormone disruption may have been involved. I would like to no more of OP's birds, not simply generalizations.

I know its rare but if you go back in time both male and female would incubate. they would take turns like eagles
