Rooster with soar throat??

My lavender sablepoot rooster had a lovely crow but today when I went out he was very hoarse there was a small sound but it's quit concerning to me
Anyway know anything that I can give him to help his throat

Check his crop first thing in the morning before he eats/drinks-it should be empty. Crop problems could make him a bit hoarse.

Also look inside his beak for any plaques, lesions or signs of canker.

Ok I will it's very early so I'll wait to it gets lighter to check him
