My MIL in CT has a fisher cat on her property, they are nasty. We don't have any down here, just bear, otters, bobcat and snakes up the whazoo.

Yes they’re very nasty mean animals. I’ve lost cats to them. I’m not happy about it being around whatsoever! I’ve heard that if cornered by a human they’ll attack you going for the jugular. Not sure how truthbthat is, but it wouldn’t surprise me. We’re in NH, but I also hate snakes more then anything else. We had a ton, just gardener, before we got our chickens, I would scream on a regular bases when walking through the yard, because one or even two always startled me by slithering in my path. I’ve lived in the country almost my entire life and I had never seen the amount of snakes added together that I saw the first year since we bought this place. However after getting chickens I think I’ve seen one.
