I know this is not the best place to put this but I am desperate! I have a gorgeous bearded silkie rooster that I need to find a home for! He is great with other roosters and does great in small breeding ratios. The only bad thing about him is he likes his space so if you get to close or he feels threatened he will try to spur you! It doesn’t hurt it feels like a tiny scratch he has only left a mark once and it still didn’t hurt! I have too many roosters and I’m getting a lot more layers soon but my pullet decided to be a cockerel so I can no longer keep him!😕 I really need to find him a home hopefully to a breeder, I don’t know much about show quality but from what I read he would qualify! I have an option for him to become a dinner but I really don’t want to! Please consider and ask fellow chicken keepers that you know!

Better :). I wish you luck with your rooster. The fact that he has some aggression issues can scare a lot of people away though.

Thanks it isn’t really aggression as much as protection of the hens when I go near them he freaks out which is good and bad.
