Planted some spanish lavender and rosemary that I got 50% off from Home Depot because they were severely wilted. They have since perked up and will make it!

I’m hoping someone can give me advice on this: I put in a raised bed for asparagus last fall. It’s a 2’ tall bed on cement. I had it filled to almost the top, using a hugelkultur method (logs/sticks/finer vegetation, and then soil in layers. And man did it shrink down this summer! Probably a full foot. So my question is - should I dig up the asparagus roots once they’re dormant, add soil and replant? Will that damage them in any way?
