Those hackle feathers are super pointy and long too. Almost looks like long hair!

No he does not,he is pretty timid too.

No not at all he is about 61/2 months

Most definitely a cockerel. Females of this variety are highly different in appearance. Here is a female Silver Pencilled Rock of mine for comparison. (Same variety, different breeds and naming of variety dark vs silver pencilled, but still same appearance.)View attachment 2502185
