Rooster?

Could this be a rooster? This is one of four of our Rhode Island Reds, 2 weeks old. Could this be a rooster or just a long comb? None of the others are this long.

It could be, but too early to tell for sure. 6 weeks is a good starting point for sexing.

That was really hard haha some of them are really tame but some are really not lol the first and third pics are the same chic they will be 3 weeks old Friday

I see no obvious indications that it’s a male at this point but still too young to be sure. Post again when the birds are around 6-8 weeks old.

It's a little young to tell. I don't see anything at this point that makes me say cockerel.

It kinda looks like some more have grew out maybe that’s just the way they are?? But there’s definitely one that has hardly no growth at all! We also have speckled Sussex and jersey giants. They don’t have a long comb yet either. What do your look like?
I guess time will tell!
