Perhaps a lavender Ameraucana. It's a cockerel for sure with a comb that big and colorful at 7 weeks.

My friend hatched it at home; the egg said it was a bantam Easter Egger.

No, because Ameraucanas have pea combs. I can see the skinny little points of a single comb in the photo.

That makes sense. Some Easter Eggers look like wanna-be Ameraucanas but have a few details wrong (like comb types: any comb is fine for an Easter Egger, but Ameraucanas are supposed to only have pea combs.)
