Any idea what breed this is?

Is that a pea comb? If he does he could be a beardless Easter Egger, or just a very beautiful mutt.

I'm not sure. I got this photo from a lady who I will be getting him from. She said he is a pure breed, but not sure what exactly he is.

If she's sure he's purebred, the next thought is Black Breasted Red Araucana, tailed and without the ear tufts, or BBR Ameraucana without the beard.

That does look like a pea comb. My EE roo has the same thing going on, and I initially thought your guy looked like some kind of mix, too.

So the seller isn't sure on the breed? I'm not trying to be critical, but how is she sure that he's a purebred bird if she doesn't know the breed?

Looks like an EE to me, slate legs and pea(ish) comb give it away. Definitely not a purebred though, sorry.

She had ordered eggs from a breeder who sent her eggs from 2 breeds he had. So perhaps they got crossed. He's free, so I don't mind. I just need a rooster who will protect all of my hens. I was just curious as to what everyone thought he may be. I had thought EE or Gamefowl, perhaps?

that comb looks more rose comb than pea. he has white earlobes and slate legs. Nothing looks EE to me in this bird. he could be pure breed. Im ganna look around and see if i find anything that looks like him.
