Roosters and Hens “birds and the bees”

I have a stupid question! Can any rooster mate with any hen or does the breed of each matter. For example; Can a bantam rooster mate with an Easter egger?

My araucana mates with all of my chickens, and he's much smaller than my brahmas. So, yes... nature will find a way.

Yes any rooster can breed any hen the chicks will be mixed
