Roosters are no joke?

Because there are always questions about whether or not to keep a rooster after it has attacked someone I found this article interesting. And sad.

This is why roosters have a one strike policy at my place. I have small children and they need protection above all else.

Any male that draws blood (even from biting) 2x is gone. They don't last the day. 1st time I give them a chance because I have had some that either get excited or learn after a scolding. Also keep my face out of reach after the 1st one for a good while.

I feel bad for this guy cause he obviously loved his animals but I feel like there is definitely a line that needs to be drawn. Whether its an aggressive rooster or a sick hen, sometimes we need to know when to end things for the good of everyone.
