I wouldn't upset the dynamics you have going now by adding a standard roo. Your little guy is happy and friendly. I'd just be happy with that. Honestly there's not a whole lot that a standard roo is going to do for you that the little guy isn't already. As far as from a defense standpoint, most predators that are a threat during daylight would just kill him first. There are cases of them doing amazing things, but that's more the exception than the rule. He's beautiful by the way.
Hey Thanks @adstowe ! Yea plus I've got 4 babies that aren't fully "sexed" yet so if there's a lil roo then be it, rather grow the flock organically than introduce cock-conflicts.
I do want a beefy Light Brahma rooster eventually but you're right.
