Roosters beak :(

Went out this morning to let my babies out of the run.. looks like my rooster maybe tried to get something and got his Beak in the chicken wire can someone tell me what I need to do? He has been eating and drinking and been his normal self..

He should be fine as long as he's eating and drinking. The beak will heal on its on.

You do want to keep it clean, and a little antibiotic cream won't hurt. Just don't get it inside his beak. Good luck with him. He's a beautiful bird.

Bring him to a vet. They will know how to get the wire out without hurting him.

He was suppose to be entered in the fair Thursday for show, but I guess he will need to heal first.
