Roosters comb blocks one eye

Should i cut off his comb? It will be the first time i had to do it. But i hate seeing him have such a problem.

Assuming it would be cut by an experienced person and hygienically, is that the only option?

He's fine the way it is. Only main issue would be if he lived somewhere it would be frostbit easily

Dubbing would be your only option. If he's eating/drinking ok, then it's probably fine the way it is.
If you don't want to do that, then check under the fold at at least once a week and clean out dirt accumulation.
