Rooster's Comb is Henpecked!

Is there something I can put on his comb to make the hens leave it alone/heal? For some reason, they bite the last two spikes of his comb and he just looks plain awful, plus I don't want him to constantly have an open wound and go through the pain. Thanks for any help!

You can try applying Blu kote on it, but you may have to seperate him till he heals..... Hens can be mean

Thanks, I will try that out. Don't know how he'll take to being away from his hens no matter how mean they are to him LOL!
