It's hard to say. The breeds vary so much. Mine crowed all around 6 - 8 weeks. The ones I got from the feed store were all girls, so I'm going to go back and get some more soon (didn't make it there is past Saturday). I have had luck with my feed store, but you do have to watch for the signs of the breed. For example, some have different colors of legs for boy or girl, some have different feather colors, etc. It's really hard with the big comb breeds. If you have suspicions, post in the Breed/Sex forum. Sometimes people will have pics of their chickens of the same breed at the age yours are. That helps a lot.
