Roosters from Straight Run Bin

I am getting 8ish chickens this spring and I'm hoping I can get a rooster.

The feed store doesn't offer sexed males, only sexed females and straight run bantams. If I go with a straight run bantam, is it going to be the same 50/50 chance as straight run is supposed to be, or is it going to be the 80% chance that straight run has become? Thanks.

Since most hatcheries do not offer sexed bantams, chances are that 'straight run' will really be straight run. There is no guarantee; however, that you won't get 80% cockerels.
