Roosters in need

:loveThey are gorgeous and seem to be in good health. I would post your ads ASAP to try to get these boys to their new homes.
One thing I did not mention is that you will get people who will want them for their freezers. If you are okay with that, fine. If not, say so in the ad and ask a small fee for them. When the right person comes along, just let them have the rooster. I told the woman who adopted my Delaware that I only put the fee in the listing to prevent him from going to freezer camp. There are enough nasty cockerels and roosters out there to fill someones freezer with. The nice ones deserve a chance.
I got a great birthday present today. My rescue hens left me three gorgeous green eggs. The first time they have laid since getting them. :)

Yay!!! So glad you were able to intervene for these guys! What a horrible owner, leaving them like that. Damn near the same as dumping a dog, except that these guys still thought they had a safe home in their coop. The lack of humanity in humans disgusts me sometimes.

Exactly, went to bed every night thinking they were safe. I'm so glad I was able to rescue them. I just get so much enjoyment watching them. I have let them out to free range twice now and they are so funny. Today I actually had a couple of the girls eat right out of the treat bowl I had in my hand. Put a big smile on my face to know they are starting to trust me. :)
