my 2 roosters like 2 fight, and i noticed that one of em is bleeding from the head. how can i treat its wound???????????

thxs. my neighbor said just to let it on its own. but if i do try 2 treat it i have 2 get teh other rooster n the 2 hens out of my way 1st. the roosters dont seem 2 like me since we got the hens. sooo how can i get 2 the injured rooster w/o getting pecked?

Sounds like you need to permanently separate them before the injuries get serious. SOmetimes 2 roos just don't manage to get along.

if you have someone to help you fend off the one roo while you catch the other that's easiest. I find a leaf rake to be a great rooster shield.

thxs. but when i try 2 get 1 of the chickens then they all move n i cant catch em

Best easy to obtain method you can try right away is a fishing net, a dip net like you might have around the house. I've used a salmon landing net we have around here and it's OK, mainly it was handy when I had to move some birds.

There are better solutions and I'm sure we'll hear them all now, but you need to get that one rooster out of there now, and chances are you have a net or your neighbor does or a local store will sell you one.
