Roosters not crowing

Well i have a few roosters and none of them crow which is good as the neighbours wont complain but i have 3 roosters and none of them dcassionaly the 2 oldest one buck and make a sound like that but never crow.Is this normal behaviour? I have a light brahma rooster and 2 other roosters.

Yes, some crow incessantly, and some never crow. I have 8 and only 3 or 4 crow.

How old is old? Most of my Roosters have started to "practice" around 4-5 months old. They also try to start mounting that young. It's quite funny. One of mine seemed to sound more like a dieing cow when he was learning to crow. I have another that it came a little more natural.
