My friend just bought 20 boven chickens were told they are all hens that are a year old. They are nearly stripped of feather because of the roosters, and devoid of spurs. But they have large combs that flop over. There is one hen that looks like the picture I saw but the rest look weird. My roosters going nuts for them trying to breed them but a couple actually fight like a rooster despite not having spurs. Can these be hens? Or are they rooster?

Those all look like hens to me
Poor hens, might be a good time to get a new rooster. I would say their hens.
Lol I tend to agree. I have two roosters one young and one older. The old one is a gentleman named Cogburn. He's been kicking the Young blood into gear. He's calmed down his hormones. My older hen Clairy is comforting the new additions.

Rare in roosters, common in hens.

Your roosters are probably right about them being hens.

but a couple actually fight like a rooster despite not having spurs.
Hens will fight with each other, and will sometimes fight with roosters--especially when they've just met, and are trying to figure out the new pecking order.

I agree with the other posters who say that yes, those are hens.
