Roosters, Pullets & Intergration Questions...............

and good morning fellow BYCers I have in my adult pen at present 2 roosters and 7 hens (bad ratio I know), in my grow up pen for the juviniles I have at least 25 pullets that will be at point of lay the end of June, so I am holding off combining the 2 flocks until the pullets are at the point of lay and ready for the 2 roosters who constantly want to mate. Here's my problem & questions.......
The 2 grown roosters in question are NHR & BA or BJ, the NHR is clearly the alfa rooster and he isn't too nice to my black rooster, heck he isn't very nice to me either so I have to carry a stick in the pen with me, but he is very watchful of the 7 hens in the pen with them.
Now here's the questions.....
When I go to intergrate the 25 pullets will leaving them all together be ok? Will the NHR become nicer to my black rooster? Or even me?
Or to be fair to the black rooster should I seperate the roosters and divide the pullets evenly between them? I only ask because I want my birds to live in harmony and my poor Blackie is being picked on.

I went out and bought some of those step in plastic fence posts and a couple rolls of plastic poultry netting. Then I fenced off a HUGE 50x50 area of my yard and set them all loose in it and watched them.

With that much space they all had plenty of room to ignore eachother and learn who's who in the order without having to attack eachother.

Works well for me and my set up. I introduced my 18 5 week old chicks to the 8 big birds that way.

I agree with the other posts. See how it goes. If the NHR gets too aggressive, put him in jail for a few days. Every integration is going to be different.

I am thinking that the NHR will try and hog all the ladies for himself and pick at Blackie worse, Could that be possible? Or am I worrying for nothing? So far Blackie is my nice one and I would like to keep it that way.

If you have a big enough space, put all of them in together. One rooster can't hog 32 hens and pullets, even an aggressive. Your BA/BJ will most likely have a smaller amount but he'll have plenty.

Good morning, i've got a real newbie question. is it possible to have a rooster (for flock protection) without actually having the birds mate? we're just getting started, haven't even gotten the chicks yet, just the coop.
