Roosters.....who will be bigger???

i have a Rhode Island Red rooster and a rooster that is several weeks younger who is a Sicillian Buttercup.....my question is who will be bigger?? and how likely is it that they will fight?? i have 28 girls and 9 of the girls are always with the Buttercup.

well it depends on what type of RIR rooster if its the production breed than probably not of its old heritage breed then the RIR .probably

The RIR will be bigger at maturity.. As for fighting that's more of individuals and space. Not just hens.

They will share nicely...I would guess the number of incidents will be somewhat reflective of the hens receptiveness. Something about a squawking hen gets my roosters blood boiling. But they don't fight for long if there is space.

Chances are good your RIR will be the big boy at maturity.

RIR roos can be agressive. I have to keep my seperated from the others- he is the only one that will fight- my others are cochins. He will also jump on your back if you're not looking.
