Since I was a youngster there has been one fowl bird or another who ultimately would have been better off changing his pin sized brain. I know of no known(3 N's) cure save one. Dumplings.

Yep, had a lot of those-----I just take them to the Auction---tag his cage that he is a "Bad Boy" and the Meat Buyer usually gets him----so I know his days are numbered. Soon!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join us here! I'm afraid sometimes these are part and parcel of keeping a roo. For me, I don't keep any that are aggressive.

Enjoy your time here on BYC :frow

Welcome!

I live in a no-rooster zone so luckily have not bumped into any roosters, good or bad attitude

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

There are a glut of roosters on the market - so it's a buyers delight. Some are very good boys but, roosters aren't allowed in many communities. You can find some good ones. Or like many folks just forgo having a rooster period and just buy fertile eggs if they want chicks.
