roosters??

I have 4 chickens that came from blue eggs and I would love for them to be hens, but after looking at a few other messages I am thinking that I have two hens and two males

How old are they? The first two are the ones you think are roos? Without knowing the age I would tend to agree, unless they come from a family of "big boned" ladies and are POL. Looks like you can see hackle feathers on the second one. I think the third lighter one may be a girl though!

All of those are blue wheatens, so that makes it that the top two photos are boys and bottom two are girls. Wheatens and Blue Wheatens are easily sexed by color as soon as they have feathers.

Btw, congrats on having real Ameraucanas.

Thanks I bought the eggs from Mahonri, a regular here on the boards. The eggs were beatiful I hope they start laying soon so that I will have pretty blue eggs. They are 4 months old give or take a week.

Mahonri has some lovely stock and great egg color too.
