Roosters?

I hope i don't sound to ignorant. When you switch the hens to layer feed, is this what roosters eat too?? The rooster is in the same coop with the hens, so i't would be difficult to feed him differently.

That's what you do. Roosters do fine on layer ration that the hens eat. No need to feed them anything separate.

Yeppers! They eat the layer feed. Not a dumb question at all...I wondered that myself, but decided not to worry about it.

That's what my rooster eats except when he is free range..
