Roosters

Sorry the computer thing is not me so I'm not sure how to text a question or how to post it. But why is my rooster sitting with my hen while she lays her eggs? He doesn't do that with the other hens. I'm so confused!

My rooster will sometimes do this as well... So I would also want to know! Following

Go under... Raising back yard chickens.
Then under...... chicken behaviors and egg laying.
Just a brief exp. ... Some roosters have a maternal will for its off spring. Just as a good daddy would. I think you'll find more on that under those headings.
