Roosting bar

I have 6 RIRs who have been in their run/coop for about 7 weeks. They are 16 weeks old. Five use the roosting bar consistently and one does sometimes but lots of night I can see that one is laying on the shelf right beside her sisters on the bar. I don’t think this is a problem but thought I would ask.

Assuming that your roost space is sufficient (at least 1.5ft per bird) and your coop size is sufficiently large to deter bullying, there should be little to worry about. See this link on space to assist in terms of coop size - Space requirements

They have a second roosting bar they don’t use. I don’t have any good pictures of inside of coop but will try to remember to take some.
