roosting hens dropping eggs

My new hens are roosting at night and dropped some eggs while sleeping. Its new home and they have a great double nesting boxes to use. Is it because they are unsure about their new surrounding and group together at night for safety on the roost??

Something threw off their schedule after they started the process of making an egg (25hrs). It could have been the stress of a new home. It will correct itself in due time without your help. If you want them to lay in the nesting boxes once they are back on schedule then you can place fake eggs or golf balls in them.
