Roosting Issues

We have finally integrated our 2 sweet little ladies (now 16 weeks old) to our existing flock of 5. After overcoming a few bully issues we are all now successfully hanging out during the day. The issue is at night, the big girls won't let the new girls roost with them :( It's particularly my 2 Wyandotes that just aren't having it. Any tips?

I would add more roosts if that's possible. I have multiple roosts, and the 3 hens commandeer the choisest ones even tho there is room for the pullets. It's probably not going to change any time soon. I just added another as my six youngsters no longer all fit on theirs.

I am having a similar issue. My four chickens are all 12 weeks old and sleep on the floor of the coop. There is plenty of roost space and different heights, but the chickens still just use the floor.

Should I be worried about this behavior?

Have you tried showing them that they can roost? My 11 week olds don't roost, and my 6 week olds do. I think it is just a chicken's opinion! :)
