roosting on top of nest boxes

I think that with the ladder type roosts, while people count all the levels as roosting area, chickens do not. They seem to see it as a ladder to get to the roost.

If it doesn't bother you don't worry about it - they solved it. If you want them all together, I would run the roost down the length or kitty corner - to get more space at the highest level.
