Roosting question....

Thinking about getting some Guinea's to help control the insect problem at my place. My question is if I let them 'free range' during the day time will they 'roost' on top of autos or farm implements located in an open barn. I keep three of my vehicles in a 36x24 open barn.

They'll roost in the rafters over you vehicles and when they poo while roosting. Well.... gravity will take over.

Yuuck...the upper level is floored for all but one 12x12 section, of course where I park my Grand Cherokee...so the question is, is it a good trade off to get rid of the bugs and ticks in the yard or clean the vehicle??

Seems like I'm always looking for a good reason to got to town to was my truck anyhow. Could throw a tarp over your car if they decide to roost over it.

Guineas are also great at killing snakes and mice. Also alerting other birds of predators like hawks or foxes.
