When should I put a perch for practice roosting? they seem to jump all over everything already and they are only a week old!

I'm a newbie but i think i read a post here saying at about 2 weeks but keep it low so they won't get hurt when they fall off.

I started mine at only one inch high and worked them up slowly later.​
