roosting?

my hens are quiet old enough to start roosting but they are not doing it. the roost is fine and fits their feet well. if I put it out in the yard they will use it but not in the coop. any help?

After dark, go to the coop and gently put each girl up on the roost. Keep doing this each night. Eventually, they'll get the idea.

Just let them to their own thing. They'll roost when they're ready, it's kind of like potty training a human child.
