Rose Combs

Not sure if this is the right place, but what does a mature Wyandotte rose comb look like when she is nearing laying.

Yep, they have rose combs. And when they are getting ready to lay it should get a little redder but the time of year and temperature can also affect the color of the combs, the combs tend to be paler in colder wheather.

Thank you for the picture. All of the comb charts I have found show the rose comb on a rooster and it's HUGE. My pullet looks much more like that
